October – December 2024 Community Recap

See how we positively impacted our community this season, check out what we’ve been up to from October to December!

October

  • October was Cybersecurity Month: We educated our customers all month long on the importance of cyber safety including romance scams, text scams, saving yourself from credit or debit card fraud, phone scams, online shopping fraud and more.
  • October was Financial Planning Month: We shared tips and tricks about the importance of financial planning including ways to stretch your retirement budget, cybersecurity and more.
  • The Annual Legends of Bourbon County Festival: A festival commemorating the thoroughbred industry and success of past horses.
  • Teller Appreciation Week: We recognized our tellers all week to show our appreciation for them.
  • October 22- Paris-Bourbon County YMCA’s 39th Annual Fall Benefit: We spent an evening of entertainment and fun at the Fall Benefit where 100% of the proceeds go to support the YMCA and all its programs.
  • October 31- Paris Elementary School Trunk or Treat: We spent time handing out candy in costumes to children at the Paris Elementary School to celebrate Halloween.

November

  • November 11-15 -Thanks-Giveaway: We had a giveaway on our social media where people could enter for a chance to win $250. Learn more about our Thanks-Giveaway Here.

December

  • December 6- Holiday Open House: We invited our community to come visit the branch for our Holiday Open House.  We provided family fun, prizes, giveaways, refreshments, pictures with Santa and also encouraged people to vote for a charity to win a $1,000 donation.
